Against the backdrop of the economic, political, spiritual and other challenges faced by Nigerians, the Deeper Christian Life Bible Church said it would host a one day interdenominational crusade to pray for the leaders of this country.
This assertion was made by the Overseer of the church in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Pastor Joshua Esho, at a press conference ‎in Abuja, saying the country is facing numerous challenges therefore requires spiritual solution.
Esho said ''Nigeria needs the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ now than ever before for a rebirth and total renewal. We want this glorious gospel light to shine in every nooks and crannies of Nigeria”.
He emphasized that despite our challenges, God is still in control and He reigns in the affairs of the nation.
“ We are trusting God that the Crusade will usher in a new beginning in the life of the nation, because FCT as we all know is the heart of the nation. Also the crusade will be an avenue to meet the needs of FCT residents spiritually,” Esho said.
Esho said the crusade, which will hold on Sunday, June 26 at the Abuja National Stadium, will be anchored by the General Superintendent of ‎the church, Pastor William Kumuyi.
He said the stadium will be opened to all residents of Abuja and its environs, saying that the glory of God would be present to meet the needs and desires of all that will attend‎.
Speaking on the ongoing religious misunderstanding in Osun, Esho said the church was praying for a peaceful resolution and reconciliation.
