A former Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Dame Pauline Tallen, said she has no regret for dumping the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
She stated this in a chat with journalists in Jos yesterday.
According to her, “I am thanking God for dumping the PDP at the right time; lack of internal democracy and imposition in the party was unbearable; I saw the crack coming in the party.
Tallen who was a one-time Minister of Science and Technology said, “When I was about leaving the PDP, some of my friends advised me why. I told them I was following my heart and I am glad that I left the PDP at the right time.
Commenting on President Muhammadu Buhari’s one year in office, she said the President has proved that he has what it takes to move Nigeria forward.
“President Buhari has been able to tackle insecurity in the North-Eastern part of the country.
“He has also reduced the level of corruption in the country. Our President has been able to recover funds that were looted by corrupt office holders.
Tallen who is Papal Knight, called on citizens of the country to support the APC-led government, saying they are determined to better the lives of Nigerians.
