The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called on Nigerians to crave for divine intervention in the issues affecting them.
He also appealed to Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, to construct a bigger stadium in Makurdi, the state capital.
Adeboye said the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Benue State chapter was in dire need of a secretariat and promised to send a delegate to the foundation laying ceremony of the office.
While speaking on Divine Encounter, Pastor Adeboye who was accompanied by his wife, said God had first encounter with man in the Book of Genesis when he told him to preside over the earth.
Adeboye also said God told man and woman to multiply and be fruitful. According to him, anytime God speaks, miracle takes place.
He referred to other sections of the Bible where God had encounter with man including the encounter with Lazarus and asked members of the congregation with various problems ranging from lack of promotion at work, witchcraft, barrenness and retardation at the family and individual levels to request for God’s blessing and divine encounter.
