Rohr studying Zambian tapes

Nigeria’s technical adviser, Gernot Roh, has admitted that the Super Eagles will face a tough game against Zambian in Ndola on Sunday as the Chipolopolo currently parades lots of quality players that could surprise any team in Africa.

The Franco-German said yesterday during the team’s first training at the Abuja National Stadium that he has obtained the video tapes of the Zambian games, adding that he has observed some key quality players from the team

“I watched the video of the match between the Chipolopolo and the Harambee Stars of Kenya recently and I can tell you that the Zambian team has some quality players who can beat any team in Africa.

“So we are going to play them as if we are playing a World Cup final. That is why you see the kind of seriousness exhibited by the players during this training, as we have vowed to leave no stone unturned in order to get the group’s sole World Cup ticket.

“I am happy with the response by the invited players. As you can see we almost have a full house, and the atmosphere in camp is charged."
