Nigeria’s Flamingoes Tuesday drew 0-0 with England in their second match at the FIFA U17 World Cup in Jordan.
It was Nigeria’s first point of the tournament.
They will play their last group game on Saturday against North Korea.
The Flamingoes shaded the ball possession 52% to 48%, but failed to create any clear-cut chance at goal.
Their best player was skipper Rasheedat Ajibade, but she also failed to get behind the England defence.
Nigeria will need their last game to stand any chance of reaching the knockout stage of the competition.
They have reached the quarterfinals in the last three editions.
In another group game, Ghana came from behind to beat USA 2-1 and revive their championship hopes after they were battered 5-0 by japan in their opening game.
