Nigeria will hope to beat England on Tuesday afternoon after they lost their opening group game of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Jordan to Brazil at the weekend.
“We will pick up the pieces by winning against England,” assured top team official Dupe Oyewale.
“The girls were too nervous and so were not at their best possibly because most of them were playing at this level for the very first time and also against mighty Brazil.”
The Flamingoes, who have reached the last eight of this competition in the last three editions, will be hard pressed to win on Tuesday to get their campaign back on track.
