Nigeria’s form ahead of next Month’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Algeria is good enough to get the Super Eagles past Les Fennecs according to Chief Coach, Salisu Yusuf.
In a chat with footballlive.ng Yusuf dismissed Algeria as a major threat in Uyo though he admits the encounter will be a tough match.
Algeria were held 1-1 at home by Cameroon on Sunday while Nigeria had earlier on the same day defeated Zambia 2-1 away from home in their Group B clash at the Levy Nwanawasa Stadium.
Talking up Nigeria’s chances come November 12 in Uyo, the former Enyimba FC Coach believes that while the visitors are grappling with the psychological blow of dropping points at home playing so close in November could work in favor of the Super Eagles.
