Rangers’ Bonsu will dump Ghana for cash

Rangers goalkeeper, Nana Bonsu has  told AfricanFootball.com he will be ready to dump Ghana and play for another country who will pay him.

Bonsu, 27, represented his native country at U-17 level in 2006, but he has yet to be capped at full international level by the Black Stars.

“I have previously represented Ghana. If they called me up again, I will go, but if they don’t, I stay at my club,” Bonsu told AfricanFootball.com.

“And if I got an offer to play for another country, I will go. If your country didn’t call you and another country called you, I will go. It’s to do with money and I will give the money to my mother and father. We thank almighty God, it has not been easy. All the goalkeepers are one. I am playing for my other brothers, we are one. When we will be crowned champions, it will not be because of Bonsu or Daniel. It is the whole team,” he said.

The Ghana shot stopper has lately established himself as Rangers No.1, but he has insisted it has been team work with his Rangers rivals who include Nigeria Olympic goalkeeper, Emmanuel Daniel and Akor Itodo.
